DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1 Florence
Arrival in Florence and transfer on own to your centrally located hotel.
Hotel: Martelli (ST) Fenice Palace (F)
Day 2 Florence
Your guided tour introduces you to beautiful Florence and visits the Duomo and
the Bapistry. The remainder of the day is a leisure to explore. Florence (B)
Day 3 Siena & San Gimignano
Today's excursion takes you through the countryside of the Chianti area. Visit
San Gimignano, a well preserved medieval hill town. The city is famous for its
numerous towers, frescos and other art treasures. Continue to the magnificent
medieval city of Siena for a guided tour. (B)
Day 4 Florence/Italian Riviera
Travel by first class rail into the Italian Riviera with its pastel colored
houses basking in the Mediterranean sun. Arrive in the resort town of Santa
Margherita. Enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere of open-air cafes and boutiques.

Day 5 Cinque Terre
A short train ride to the picturesque tow of Camogli, and continue by boat to
visit the monastery of San Fruttuoso, founded more than 1200 years ago. See the
delightful resort of Portofino. Return to Santa Margherita by bus, and continue
to a Cinque Terre village for overnight (either Manarola or Corniglia). (B,D)

each booking.
Day 6 Cinque Terre
Visit the three Cique Terre villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola and Corniglia.
Enjoy a boat ride along the beautiful Cinque Terre coast. Return to your hotel
for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 7 Cinque Terre/Depart
Depart after breakfast. (B)
