THE FESTIVE SEASON: CHRISTMAS DAY TOURS
Our Christmas lunch includes welcome drink on arrival, starters, roast turkey
with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding or mince pies and coffee. Wine is
included on Tours CD14, CD20, CD24.
Christmas day pick ups will be a ½ hour later than standard pick up times.
ROYAL LONDON AND
WINDSOR
Tour CD14 Adults: $115 Children (3-16) $105
We drive westward to Windsor where the Queen and the Royal family spend
Christmas, see Windsor Castle before enjoying a traditional Christmas lunch.
After the meal we return to London for a brief panoramic Tour driving past the
Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
STONEHENGE,
SALISBURY AND BATH
Tour CD20 Adults: $115 Children (3-16) $105
First Stonehenge, to view the ancient stone monoliths. Then we drive to
Salisbury for a traditional Christmas lunch and see the Cathedral which has the
tallest spire in England. We travel on to Georgian Bath, one of Britain's most
elegant cities. Bath was a leading social centre in the 18th and early 19th
centuries and there's time to stretch your legs before returning home to London.
CHRISTMAS
DAY IN THE COTSWOLDS
Tour CD25 Adults: $115 Children (3-16) $105
We drive to Oxford for a walking Tour of the City. Called the City of
Dreaming Spires, Oxford is famous for its universities and its fine
architecture. We proceed on to the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural
beauty. We take our traditional Christmas lunch in Stratford on Avon before
returning to London.
CHRISTMAS IN LONDON WITH
LUNCH ON THE THAMES
Tour CD25 Adults: $115 Children (3-16) $105 See London with no traffic!
During our 2½ hour drive you will see the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St.
Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey with plenty of chances to take
photographs before joining our Thames Cruise for traditional Christmas lunch.
Disembarkation is about 14:45 pm.
MORNING
LONDON PANORAMIC TOUR

Here is an extraordinary chance to see London virtually free of traffic. Our
experienced guide will bring to life some of London's history and there will be
several opportunities for photographs (lunch not included).

Why not experience your Christmas lunch aboard the Millennium Thames cruiser
and experience the sight of London from the river while enjoying your
traditional Christmas lunch. Embarkation from Embankment Pier at 12:30.

STONEHENGE AND BATH

Our Tour takes us past the 4,000 year old stone circles of Stonehenge. Then
on to Bath where we enjoy a panoramic Tour of one of England's most elegant
cities with a chance to see the city on foot.
LEEDS
CASTLE, CANTERBURY AND DOVER
Tour 22 Adults: $85 Children (3-16): $77
A private visit to the loveliest castle in the world, set in the middle of a
lake and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Canterbury is England's ecclesiastical
capital, where St. Thomas Beckett, Archbishop of Canterbury, was murdered.
Finally to Dover, renowned for its great stretch of white chalk cliffs and
castle where France's coast can be seen.
OXFORD, STRATFORD AND WARWICK CASTLE
Tour 23 Adults: $85 Children (3-16) $77
On arrival in Oxford the university city whose origins date back many years,
our guide will escort us on foot whilst recounting the lives of famous students
and the traditions of the colleges that endure even today. In Stratford,
Shakespeare's Birthplace, we see Anne Hathaway's cottage. The tour ends at
Warwick Castle set in 60 acres of beautiful grounds with over 1000 years of
history.
MORNING LONDON
HIGHLIGHTS, LONDON EYE, PUB LUNCH

Our coach takes us first to the London Eye for our included flight, then on
to the City of London, the Stock Exchange, Bank of England, St. Paul's Cathedral
and the Mansion House. Past the Natural History and Victoria & Albert Museums,
Regent St. and Trafalgar Square. The tour ends with a typical English pub lunch.
AFTERNOON LEEDS
CASTLE

Via Greenwich site of the Millennium Dome and Blackheath named after the
Great Plague of 1665, we reach Leeds Castle described as the loveliest castle in
the world and home to many medieval queens of England. It is set on 2 islands
surrounded by a lake and 500 acres of grounds. (You can join this tour at the
Forum Hotel 13:00 hrs, or the Cumberland Hotel 13:15 hrs)
